On Colour

Alchemistic a colour system transformed into a new form of colour.

This scarf is part of a broader study on color movement. Aliki created a Pantone color chart, a well-known tool used by graphic designers and printers, on a piece of silk, and splashed it skillfully with water. The colours then become fluid, liquid and mix naturally to create new hues, unseen nuances showing the material of the material.
