For this project I've made souvenir buttons out of a 30-year old plastic bag collection.

The tracksuit is made out of plastic bags from the market.

SUNGLASS-LEAD

Spy anonymous. People rather look inside anonymous instead of looking invited inside. The residents of number 33 are very open, nice people, don’t mind people to look inside.
To give a place for the curious watcher, it becomes uninteresting to look inside.

The house of the residents is rebuilt into a very bright, light house. The open and light character of the ground floor surprised me by stepping into their house.
Because the residents watch TV by a beamer, their house looks like a little cinema in the evening. People often stop by to look at the window what is projected on the white wall.

Their house is a little light oasis, at daytime by the natural light and in the evening by the beamer.
I’ve put sunglasses on the window so you can stand to look into the light from inside. The sunglasses give you the opportunity to watch a little bit anonymous inside, because you’re eyes are covered by the glasses. Different glasses; different looks inside.

Together the glasses become a Sunglass in lead, what corresponds with the characteristic original glasses of the old house.

 

 

 

 

 

Invitation 60-years birthday
